Val d'Orcia, a taste of Tuscany, art, good food and nature

(Val d'Orcia)
Genre: culture   nature

A weekend, perhaps a little short to see all the beauties of the Val d'Orcia, but for those who made this engaging video it was enough to capture some of the most beautiful places. The trip starts from Bagni San Filippo, the thermal baths characterized by white limestone formations and curious waterfalls make this place known. We then proceed towards Bagni San Filippo and the journey develops along the Val d'Orcia Park (UNESCO heritage) with its thousand landscapes to be studded with photos. Next stop, San Quirico d'Orcia characterized by 4 medieval access gates, the church of Santa Maria Assunta, the Leonini Gardens and the collegiate church of San Quirico and Giuditta. Another stop is in Pienza, known as 'the ideal city of the Renaissance', in addition to the historical beauties there are the gastronomic ones with the typical 'cacio' and the typical taverns. Last, but not least, Montepulciano, a unique village of rare beauty with a thousand hidden corners where the historic 'fortress' stands out.
