Tuili, a Sardinian village between artisans, culture and nature

Where: tuili
(Tuili)
Genre: culture   nature   folklore

We are in Sardinia, which in addition to offering spectacular beaches, among the most beautiful in the world, also has to offer us small glimpses and villages immersed in the nature of the hinterland, such as Tuili, gently lying on the hills of Val Villa, overlooking the Giara plateau, just 3 km from the nuragic complex. Built in medieval times, it still preserves the typical structures of the period, remaining a magnificent village with stone structures and houses, mixed with the characteristics of the typical Sardinian village of the Spanish age. Entering the historic center, the large doors are striking, inviting us into imposing courtyards with the typical cobblestone pavement and ornamental plants. The visit of the church of San Pietro is a unique opportunity to relive the art of the 1500s. The villas built in the neoclassical style are another beauty to admire, which have become cultural centers of tourist reception and let us immerse ourselves in the typical peasant life. Tuili's productive resources are agriculture and pastoralism.
