Bosco Magnano and Pollino Adventure Park

On the road that connects Valsinni to the Pollino Massif, in the municipality of San Severino Lucano in the province of Potenza we find the Bosco Magnano. It is a very important site for Basilicata, and is mainly composed of Beeches and Cerri, but also of firs, chestnuts and grassy expanses. There are great varieties of natural habitats and a large number of fauna and flora species. In this forest to say the least fairytale we find the Pollino Adventure Park where, helped and guided by highly qualified instructors and equipped with equipment to ensure every type of safety, we can try different activities, such as orienteering, river trekking or water trekking and excursions in muontain-bike in the woods. There are also several paths that can be traveled by all on foot, on the Frido stream or on the Peschiera stream, where the lucky ones will be able to spot the otter and the spectacled salamander. We can also make use of tables and barbecues in the woods for an inevitable family picnic immersed in unspoiled nature.
