An excursion to the Alpe di Siusi

The Alpe di Siusi is one of the highlands of the Dolomites located in Trentino Alto Adige, more precisely in the municipality of Castelrotto. Its extension is equal to 52 square km between Val Gardena to the north, the Sassolungo Group to the north east and the Sciliar massif to the south-east. The following video is proposed as a sort of itinerary, it is a practical guide on how it is best to proceed during an excursion in the Alpe di Siusi. The author suggests starting your journey from the Ortisei cable car station and taking a flat path from which you can enjoy the wonderful panorama of the Sassolungo, while, on the left, you can observe the famous 'Denti di Terrarossa', which take this name comes from the fact that the peaks are very similar, due to their shape, to the teeth of a horse. The plateau offers about 450 hiking trails, which is why it is preferable to divide your excursion into several days, in order to fully enjoy the splendid landscapes that nature offers us.
