In the Campania region, in the province of Avellino, between the mountains of Chiaio and Carità rises the small village of Moschiano. The history of the village of Moschiano, formerly known as Muscano, is of Samnite origin, but its existence could date back to the Late Middle Ages. The most important religious building in the village occupies the heart of the village: the Church of the Body of Christ. Another no less important religious building is about six kilometers from the aforementioned church, in a hilly direction. This is the Sanctuary of Charity, the main place of faith for all the people of Moscow. This village boasts above all a spectacular view over the green hills of the Vallo di Lauro. Food and wine is not underestimated at all: Moschiano enjoys an excellent production of hazelnuts, but considerable importance is also given to the vast production of wood, quite important thanks to the presence of centuries-old woods. Moschiano is not a city rich in culture, but in faith and religion which, combined with the vast and pure nature, give a great feeling of peace, calm and tranquility.
