A green oasis a few steps from Milan: Tribiano is the ideal place to live outdoors

Where: tribiano
(Tribiano)
Genre: culture   nature   useful information

In the large industrial chain of Milan, the village of Tribiano represents a small natural parenthesis. The greenery of this town, crossed by many cycle paths, is like a small magical place where you can stop and catch your breath. A village on a human scale, with an agricultural mold, which allows those who live there to take refuge in its greenery, while remaining close to the big city. It is made up of the urban center and several villages: Zoate, San Barbaziano and Lanzano, which can be reached by bike. The village is also immersed in the South Milan Agricultural Park, a protected and natural area, where nature and history merge. The hamlet of Zoate dates back to Roman times and its proximity to the Addetta canal has always made it useful for military purposes. The pride of the area is the Zoate Golf Club. Passing through the cycle path you arrive at San Barbaziano, a rural area, on which stands the homonymous and solitary church. We then move on to Lanzano where the church dedicated to Saints Gervasio and Protasio is worth a visit. Returning to the center of Tribiano we visit the parish church, dedicated to San Vito, which contains some valuable works. Tribiano has a very active community life. There are many sports associations and opportunities to be together, such as the village festival held in September and the bicycle ride.
