Discovering 5 places not to be missed in Milan

Where: milano
(Milano)
Genre: culture   useful information

The particular tour that is proposed to us in the video, aims to discover characteristic places not to be missed if you are in the wonderful Milan. A first gem that is proposed to us is the Albergo Diurno located in the Porta Venezia area, opened thanks to the FAI and is located in the subsoil of Piazza Oberdan and was built by the architect Piero Portaluppi; unfortunately it was not possible to show its interior in the video as filming is prohibited. The tour continues crossing the Arco Salvini and reaching Villa Invernizzi where we can admire a park with curious pink flamingos. The next stop is the garden of Villa Necchi Campiglio, also designed by Piero Portaluppi, around the 1930s; the structure is part of a circuit of museum houses together with four other villas, which can be visited with a single ticket within a year. Then you reach the Vittorio Emanuele gallery and you will discover that it is possible to visit it above and therefore enjoy a wonderful view of the city. The tour continues and we reach Piazza Duomo; nearby we can admire another Arbergo Diurno, which has become a bar. Another stop is the Crypt of San Sepolcro, under the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, near the Cortusio area; the structure was reopened in 2016 after several restoration works and has the floor of the Roman Forum, therefore an ancient floor that testifies to the presence of the Roman period. We conclude the tour behind Piazza degli Affari with the Palazzo Mezzanotte, in front of which there is an interesting sculpture by Catteland called LOVE, acronym for Freedom, Hate, Vendetta, Eternity.
