Today we are in Romagna, in the province of Forlì-Cesena: so let's go to the discovery of Forlì. We begin our journey by visiting some of the main natural areas of the place; let's start with the Vena del Gesso Romagnola Regional Park, the Casentinesi Forest National Park and the Franco Agosto Urban Park, the main public park in the city, dedicated to the first mayor of Forlì after the liberation from Fascism. All the parks are rich in particular specimens of flora and fauna and give us breathtaking views. We continue and begin the visit inside the city, arriving in Corso Aurelio Saffi, the central place of the city in the Middle Ages. The Palazzo del Podestà and the Abbey of San Mercuriale overlook the square which, together with its bell tower, represents the symbol of the city. We continue towards Piazza del Duomo, where we are dominated by the grandeur of the Duomo, formerly the Church of Santa Croce, the city's cathedral. From Corso Garibaldi, we then reach Porta Schiavonia, where we arrive in the oldest part of the city, where we admire stately palaces that have been splendidly preserved to this day. Let's move on to visit the Civic Tower and conclude our visit inside the San Domenico Museum, where we admire the Civic Art Gallery of Forlì.
