Meldola is a town not far from Forlì and Cesena which offers many reasons to visit. The municipality is known for its four fortresses. The main one is that of the city, which has been completely renovated and stands on the surrounding landscape. Then there are the Rocca di Castelnuovo, the Rocca di Teodorano and the Rocca delle Camminate. In addition, the surroundings have many nature trails, true treasures of biodiversity such as the Scardavilla reserve. There are some curiosities to know, such as the one related to the bell that until a few decades ago was rung to melt the storm. From an industrial and economic point of view, for four centuries Meldola was known as the capital of silk, with the breeding of silkworms which today we would like to give new impetus. On the food and wine side, the municipality has nothing to envy. There are many zero-kilometer products, quality cured meats and cheeses such as raviggiolo scented with ferns, and excellent wines such as Sangiovese Superiore.
