The breathtaking mountains of Daone and a walk towards the characteristic lake of Campo

Daone is a fraction of the municipality of Valdaone, in Trentino. Together with Bersone and Praso, it forms the scattered municipality of Valdaone. The territory is crossed by the river Chiese, and is a much loved area by tourists mainly for those who love the mountains and nature walks. The mountains in the area are also known for their waterfalls where ice climbing is also possible in winter. From Daone it is possible to do various routes, one of which leads to Lake Campo. It is a very characteristic alpine lake that looks like a deep blue body of water surrounded by rocks. A breathtaking landscape that offers moments of peace after a nice walk in the mountains. The path is not very difficult but the continuous presence of the rocks requires the presence of suitable clothing and boots, and maybe even trekking poles. It is also the destination of many fishermen, mainly trout are found there. The paths for the Campo pass and the Adamello-Brenta nature park also start from the lake.
