We are in one of the most popular tourist resorts on the Brescia coast, Limone sul Garda. Famous for its lemon groves and olive oil, let's get to know this wonderful town better. Let's start with the primitive church of Limone, the Church of San Benedetto, built on the remains of an ancient Romanesque church. Inside there are five altars, different frescoes and a baptismal front from 1500. Also in the historic center we can admire, in addition to the evocative alleys and arcades, the Càstel lemon house, the most famous of Limone. The structure is semi-closed on three sides, to protect the plants and at the same time let in the necessary light and dates back to 1700. Another church that we meet in the historical part is the Church of San Rocco. It can be accessed via a small staircase and we know that it was built as a thanksgiving to God for the lemons that survived the plague. Despite its small size, its interior is decorated with dozens of frescoes, all well preserved. Its position boasts an extraordinary view and is one of the most loved places by the citizens of Limone.
