Alpe di Siusi is a geographical area located in the municipality of Castelrotto, of which it is a fraction. It is a Dolomite plateau with an altitude between 1680 m s. Lm E i 2350 m s. Lm The landscape is very characteristic and from here you can enjoy a wonderful landscape on the surrounding peaks such as the Sella Group, the Marmolada and the Sciliar. The area is ideal for those who love not only snow and skiing, but also nature walks, bike trails, trekking and everything that has to do with the mountains. The plateau's circular route allows you to pass over several mountain huts, including Contrin, Tuene and Gostner. There are several Tyrolean-style huts and refuges that you can gradually meet to refresh yourself and immerse yourself in the landscape that in summer stands out with its majestic beauty and flowering. The routes are not too difficult and you can also organize yourself with children, structuring the route so that you can rest comfortably. One of the most beautiful points is called Panorama, and is located halfway between Gostner and Edelweiß, where you can admire the Sciliar and all the surrounding mountains. Continuing further you come across the 'Witches Trail' designed especially for children who will have fun finding the wooden sculptures depicting witches, diving and learning to love the mountains. In this pass there are small waterfalls and springs.
