The art park of Briosco: Art Site Rossini and his works

An art park called Art Site Rossini was inaugurated in Briosco in 2007. The name is due to the one who strongly wanted it, Alberto Rossini, entrepreneur and patron and above all an art lover. In this place, which extends for about 10 hectares, sculptures made by some great names of contemporary art have been installed. The park is located in a purely agricultural area, so the initial input was to create something that integrates perfectly with the surrounding environment. Introducing the visitor to the Art Site is an entrance pavilion designed by architect James Wines. The pavilion has large windows to admire an overall view, and the roof is covered with vegetation, as if to blend in with the surrounding nature. Some of the authors of the other works are Munari, Pomodoro, Cascella. The Park is managed by the Pietro and Alberto Rossi Foundation, which organizes events and exhibitions throughout the year.
