Pozzuolo Martesana is a municipality located in the province of Milan, in Lombardy. The territory is part of the Martesana and from the archaeological point of view the most ancient attestations refer to a Roman tomb of the imperial age. Among the first places of interest that are shown in the video, there is the Church of San Francesco which is located a few steps from the Church of Santa Maria Nascente; the Basilica has a Latin cross plan with a single large nave; it is an example of monastic architecture of the thirteenth century. Next to it it is possible to admire the imposing bell tower, built about two centuries later. At the center of the village is the old mill wheel, an imposing wheel that is said to have even been designed by Leonardo Da Vinci. In the surroundings of Pozzuolo Martesana there are numerous attractions to visit, among the most famous is the Naviglio Martesana, the cycle path that allows you to travel over 65 km of landscape, then the Vacchelli canal also called Marzano canal and the Cava Increa Park, a green area within which there is an artificial lake which occupies almost half of its surface.
