The lakes of Briaglia and the Landandè

Where: briaglia
(Briaglia)
Genre: nature

Our journey to discover the lakes of Briaglia and Landandè begins by walking through the ancient walls of the town. The Landandè is an enchanting path including numerous stages in the Monregalese heath, we will travel the fuchsia circular path, on the contrary. A stone's throw from the city you are completely immersed in the woods to enjoy breathtaking uncontaminated views. The Langhe Monregalese is in fact the perfect place to enjoy a quiet walk in the countryside. After a small stretch of paved road, where it will be possible to admire the numerous villages of the moor from above, we arrive at one of the most evocative points of the route, that is, the giant bench of Niella Tanaro. We continue towards the chapel of San Teobaldo and then downhill towards the lakes; a small oasis of peace a stone's throw from Mondovì and Rigoforte, where bathing is prohibited. Our journey ends with the ascent towards Briaglia and its wonderful historic center to enjoy a well-deserved refreshment break.
