Getting to know the area to love wine: the initiative of the producers of Radda in Chianti

The wine producers of Radda in Chianti have gathered in an association, in order to make their wines known, of course, but also and above all the territory. In fact, the initiative takes place partly off road, or in an itinerant way through woods, rivers and landscapes that are the true soul of wine. The terroir of local wines derives in fact from the characteristics of the places where the grapes are planted, especially as regards the Sangiovese variety. Of course then they cannot grind the tastings. Both young wines, which still need time in the bottle, and aged wines are presented. Aging, however, is a fundamental phase in the production of wine, because it is only after having rested for the appropriate time that it takes on its unmistakable flavor. The Radda in Chianti winemakers also collaborate with international realities, especially those who produce wine overseas and want to experiment with new realities and crops. All this obviously takes place with the approval of the Chianti Classico Consortium.
