Demonstrations in Loreto Aprutino

In Loreto Aprutino the summer includes many events of various kinds, in order to entertain both residents and visiting tourists. The event that closes the summer season is the Fiera della Madonna, also known as 'fieruccia' by the villagers. It is a very heartfelt and participatory event, which has its roots far back in time. In fact, in the past this was the classic agricultural fair, where the buying and selling of livestock took place. Over time, of course, this aspect has been lost and today there are no more animals in the square. The desire of the organizers, however, would be to bring the animals back to the fieruccia. Of course it would no longer be a market exhibition, but an exhibition in all respects, a way to bring different animal species closer to people by making them known all the characteristics. Currently the Aprutino Riding Club still participates in the event, bringing its horses to this traditional event in the city.
