In the heart of Forio

Forio is considered the cultural center of the island of Ischia, in fact it has many places of historical and archaeological interest, as well as obviously possessing an enviable natural heritage, with its beautiful beaches and its crystalline sea. As we can admire in the video, there are many things to observe and visit, starting with a visit to the belvedere of Zaro, from which it is possible to enjoy the view of the natural landscape of the place. Among the most famous beaches there is that of Sorgeto which represents a real establishment ending in the open sea, and also of Citara characterized by clear sands. On an artistic level, you can visit several churches such as the Chiesa del Soccorso which stands out on the promontory and is dedicated to Santa Maria della neve. It is considered, together with the Torrione, the symbol of the town and is surrounded by the sea on three sides. The Torrione is without a doubt another place of cultural and artistic interest to visit, with the adjoining museum; still there is the church of San Francesco da Paola, the Pontifical Basilica of Santa Maria di Loreto, the church of San Vito, San Leonardo Abate and Santa Maria al Monte.
