Molise to discover

(Campomarino, Termoli e Agnone)
Genre: culture

Molise is a little known region but it absolutely deserves to be visited. This video shows the most beautiful cities and the main attractions of this magnificent corner of Italy. It starts from Campomarino where there are some really interesting panoramic points where you can observe the sea and the surrounding countryside. However, the city is famous for its magnificent murals painted on the facades of the houses and created over the course of 20 years by the artist Liliana Corfiati. In them are represented scenes of life and work of the citizens of Molise. Also interesting is the town of Termoli where the wonderful Swabian Castle is located. It dates back to the 13th century and was built by Frederick II of Swabia. The historic building consists of a central tower resting on a truncated square pyramid base with a cylindrical tower at each corner. From here you have a magnificent view of the sea and the beach. Very beautiful is also the Cathedral of Santa Maria della Purificazione also dated 13th century with its Apulian Romanesque style. In addition, a very curious place that deserves a visit is the narrowest alley in Europe which makes it difficult for even one person to pass through at a time. Finally to visit is the town of Agnone with its numerous and characteristic churches and small shops where you can buy interesting objects.
