From Portoferraio to Porto Azzurro.

The water is tinged with the purple sunset as you approach the first port. The row of houses is not far from the pack ice and the feeling is one of intimate and warm welcome. Sailing the next day along the inlets of the coast, you will encounter sheltered rocks where you can explore the seabed or relax with the rocking of the waves. The deep blue water balances the light color of the high cliff that cannot be reached from the ground. The sea routes around the island have known all types of boats and the history of the island is ancient, so among the rays of the sun it seems to see the sailing ships and galleons still sailing on the horizon. The navigation continues towards Porto Azzurro located in a narrow channel and difficult to dock on windy days. The village inhabited by white houses offers a nice walk among the flowered balconies and the delightful bars. Typical dishes are prepared with fresh fish, such as soup, called Cacciucco, seasoned with tomato and garlic. It is an island to be discovered and the sea telling the story of the land and her letting herself be kissed.
