Around the lake.

The video summarizes the most scenic or historically interesting stretches of the paths surrounding Lake Idro and its localities. From Rocca Pagana there is an excellent view of Bagolino, a medieval village that from up here is a web of streets, squares and stairways. Going up, the view extends to Vesta and Bondone, a town on the border between Lombardy and Trentino. The path climbs the ridge with stone ladders or small saddles from which the view of the lake, which changes from blue to green with mountain reflections, is always different and amazing. In the winter shooting, when it is a bit more tiring to get on the frozen snow, my thoughts turn to the soldiers who lived among the outposts, under the peaks, exposed to the cold and poorly equipped. We want to know them better and we head to Monte Cingla climbing between Bocca di Cocca at 1327 m and Bocca di Valle at 1392 m, a path with centuries-old beech trees, where the stone turrets are explored and we can join in memory, in this fake time of peace, to the very young men, for whom looking unfortunately had another meaning.
