Molazzana is a Tuscan town in the province of Lucca, located at 474 meters above sea level and has 1,100 inhabitants. Finally also Molazzana, together with its many hamlets, will be able to have its historical museum dedicated to the Second World War. Geographically this town was located right in the heart of the defensive line supporting the Gothic line. In fact, the museum was dedicated to the Gothic line. The museum collects artifacts and relics related to these lands during the sad period of the Second World War. Everything was made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Gothic line of Garfagnana and Lucchesia. The museum is divided into two sections, respectively dedicated to Axis troops and allies. It stands on an old school whose building was completely abandoned for some time, and will be flanked by a library, a gym and a music school, to the immense satisfaction of the local administration which has thus been able to give an important cultural center to the citizens.
