Defined by Hemingway as the most beautiful valley in the world, Val Trebbia encloses small villages perched on the mountain promontories, overlooking the river canyon. Made up of 11 inhabitants, the village is well preserved and decorated with a thousand caresses. The medieval houses, all in stone, display chairs, mosaics, ladders and compositions made with local stones in their gardens. The plants and flowers are clustered around the small furnishings, creating wonderful corners, inhabited by butterflies. Reached the apical part of the town, the ridge sinks down to the sandy shores of the stream with celestial waters. The loops twisted around the slopes are the perfect design of the millennial work of Nature. The village asks for silence, furnished with the natural taste of its environment, does not tolerate contamination and wants only ourselves, naked and welcoming beings, the emotions felt in front of creation. A few kilometers away we can visit Bobbio with the Abbey of San Colombano and the Roman bridge Gobbo or del Diavolo.
