Ogliastra is one of the most beautiful and wildest areas of Sardinia, the coasts are in fact among the most suggestive and offer wonderful and unique beaches. Here is a list of the most beautiful beaches to visit: -The Golfetto beach is located in Tortolì, they are actually several small beaches set between granite rocks, these small beaches have a crystalline sea with a shallow bottom and interspersed with rounded rocks perfect for snorkeling. The sand is fine-grained white with numerous shells. -Foxilioni beach is located east of Sardinia and is part of the long coast of Orrì made up of numerous small and large beaches, interrupted by flat and rounded rocks. -The beach of Cea is located in the coastal areas of Tortolì and Bari Sardo; it is a golden colored beach with some rocks scattered here and there. Famous are the small red stacks that give the beach a suggestive aspect. -The beach of Santa Maria is one of the most popular tourist centers on the east coast. It is a distillation of colors between the green and the white of the ancient church. -La Girasole beach has a large stretch of sand and a large crystalline sea. Next to it there is a beautiful pine forest characterized by trees that allow you to relax in the shade. -Porto Frailis is one of the many pearls of Tortolì and has a small cove of fine sand immersed in the clear and turquoise sea. -The beach of Su Sirboni amplifies its beauty thanks to the red porphyry that surrounds it. Behind the beach is a hotel that has been abandoned for 80 years. -The beach of Tancau has an area equipped for children for a fee. -Cala Biriala can only be reached by sea. -Cala Mariolu has a particular pebble beach. -Pranargia beach is an isolated beach with a crystal clear sea and a small beach. On the beach there is a kiosk where it is possible to consume excellent fish specialties. -Cala Goloritzè can be reached after 1: 30h of walking. It has been elected a protected national monument since 1995. -Torre di Bari is the beach of the sirocco wind; in the past it was divided to the north by Mari de is Ominis and to the south by Mari de is Feminas.
