The abandoned amusement park in Molfetta

Where: molfetta
(Molfetta)
Genre: fun

In 2009 an amusement park called Miragica - the land of the Giants - was built and inaugurated in Molfetta. The main theme was therefore that of the giants of fairy tales. The operation took place in conjunction with the opening of another playground that is still operational, the Rainbow Magicland of Valmontone. For the Miragica park, however, things went badly: in fact in 2018 it was closed due to the debts incurred, over 20 million euros. Today, therefore, the structure is abandoned, even if it has been impeccably preserved. Since it is a private area, it is strictly forbidden to enter it, and there is no way to access it as the bankruptcy petition is still pending. There is a guardian ready to chase out intruders and also a video surveillance system. Nonetheless, a youtuber managed to sneak in showing some of the remaining attractions. For example, there is the Icarus, brought from Gardaland; there is a carousel of horses and an area dedicated to children. Everything still looks good, except for the weeds that invade the pavement.
