Do you love snow and want to practice cross-country skiing? Come to Castelrotto, on the Sciliar plateau, where 80 km of marked and marked slopes welcome you to ski in the mountains of the Dolomites. The routes have been designed for all levels of difficulty. For beginners, two-kilometer slopes have been studied while the more experienced can go on medium or high difficulty slopes, immersed in the silence of the snow and in an extraordinary mountain environment. To these are added 60 km of high mountain slopes, the Snow park and toboggan runs that allow fun activities for the whole family. Always open huts await you below the high altitude peaks, such as the Marinzen hut at 1500 m, which can be reached by chairlift. The warm atmosphere of the Christmas markets will make your holiday unforgettable. In the village you can also visit the Museum of Traditional Costumes in the historic Lachler Palace, where you will learn about the historical costumes in use from the 8th to the 20th century.
