Discovering Nebbiuno

Nebbiuno is a town of 1800 inhabitants in the province of Novara, near Lake Maggiore. The town is located near a splendid wooded area and has a strong agricultural vocation as evidenced by the presence of numerous greenhouses. Place of great interest is the Church of San Giorgio which stands on a hill from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Very beautiful is also the Oratorio Campestre della Madonna della Neve which is an excellent starting point for excursions on foot or by bicycle in the surrounding woods. These green areas are considered a paradise for chestnut and mushroom researchers. Suggestive is the hamlet of Campiglia with its medieval buildings while Poggio Radioso is instead a renowned holiday resort. There are also numerous events that take place in the city during the course of the year such as the Patronal Festival of San Giorgio, the Strawberry Festival, the Transhumance Festival and the various festivals where local food and wine products can be tasted.
