(Puglia)
Genre: culture   nature

Puglia is a region located in Southern Italy, and has Bari as its capital. It borders Campania, Molise and Basilicata and is bathed by both the Adriatic and the Ionian Seas. Excluding the islands, this is the region with the greatest coastal development, while in its interior a flat and hilly territory prevails. The video shows ten places to visit in Puglia, the first of these are the Tremiti Islands, five islands with crystal clear water, and Valle d'Itria, full of small villages and vineyards and olive groves. In eighth place, Ostuni, known for the characteristic white color that prevails in its homes, while in seventh place we find Lecce, in whose historic center it is possible to admire several buildings in Baroque style. Another well-known destination is Alberobello, which with its famous trulli (originally homes of artisans and peasants), has become the symbol of Puglia. In fifth place follows Castel Del Monte, an octagonal castle recognized by UNESCO, while in fourth place we find the Gargano National Park, a very popular tourist destination known for its relationship with Padre Pio. In third place, Monopoli, while the Castellana Caves deserve second place, which are over 3 km long and reach 122 meters deep. In absolute first place, we find the Salento Peninsula which, from the water and unspoiled nature, remains one of the best destinations for a relaxing journey.
