Bolzano, between mulled wine and Christmas markets

Where: bolzano
(Bolzano)
Genre: events    culture   fun   folklore   useful information

We are in the largest city in Trentino Alto Adige, in Bolzano. This wonderful city, with its vines, mountains, villages and medieval castles manages to enchant anyone. In addition to the natural beauties, Bolzano offers many opportunities for winter sports lovers. In fact, we can practice ice skating as an alternative to classic skiing; the city indeed offers several skating rinks. We now enter the heart of the historic center of the medieval village where we go back in time, thanks to the pastel-colored arches and decorations and we stop to admire one of the hundred most beautiful fountains in Italy: the fountain of Neptune. We are in the middle of the Christmas period and we can only linger among the stalls of the Christmas market. Among decorations, Christmas decorations, lights, Bolzano is the city of Christmas. The main pizza turns into a real Christmas Paradise and as usual, we stop to enjoy a classic Vin Brulè, a traditional alcoholic apple juice. We did not ask for a more evocative setting to enjoy this Tyrolean tradition.
